Week 1 & 2 update




today, I released Starclanker's second update. first major update. This one contains many fixes to previous problems, and many new additions such as the beginnings of a dialogue system with NPCs. I'm also thinking of making an endless mode for the player to play with all of their different weapons and kill as many clankers as they want.
Here is a more detailed list of changes for this update:
- it is no longer possible to get stuck in the elevators
- pulse arm | blasts objects away from the player, and parries enemy projectiles, enemies can be damaged by objects thrown at them
- shotgun | fires 5 pellets with low accuracy. powerful at short range
- the player now moves with spinning platforms. (I tried for hours looking for a way to make the player move with platforms with code only to find that there was a node in Godot that I can use to do all that for me.)
- the intro is now skippable
- there is a new enemy that shoots bombs at the player (it doesn't spawn anywhere in the game yet though, so you'll not ever encounter it yet)
